Maurice Steger & Friends
Maurice Steger invites you on a journey towards the sunny South with the sensual sound of his recorder – in conversation with softly plucked strings. Margit Übellacker thus celebrates her début in Stockstadt. Side by side with her psaltery, we will be engulfed in the sound of the theorbo, harpsichord, mandolin and – of course – the dolce flute.
In southern Italy, especially, these assorted stringed instruments enjoy great popularity – they can be plucked, rhythmically struck or tapped quietly, in an almost mystical manner – and radiate a delicate musical atmosphere.
