Not only five recorders
Maurice Steger & Friends
A colorful program with original music for 1 to 5 recorders awaits you at the final concert of this year’s Stockstadt edition. The musicians’ musical journey leads from Venice via London and Paris to Hamburg – for they have works by the Venetian Antonio Vivaldi, the “Orpheus Britannicus” Henry Purcell and the Frenchman Josep Bodin de Boismortier in their luggage. Theodorus Schwartzkopff and Johann Christian Schickhardt represent Germany. In addition, the musicians not only have the usual recorder instruments, a baroque bassoon, a baroque harp and a harpsichord, which they use in flying changes, so to speak. A sensual sound spectacle with diversified baroque music at the Festival end awaits you.
