Playing together in the large recorder orchestra Bad Kissingen

Sacred and secular music for symphonic recorder orchestra.

Start the festival playing! We warmly invite you to actively tune in musically to the 2024 festival. Come on Thursday afternoon and play in our festive recorder orchestra.

Simon Borutzki, conductor of the Berlin Recorder Orchestra, will work on large-scale works, exclusively arranged by him, with you.

Please indicate only one recorder size when registering, which you will bring and play. The following are sought: alto, tenor, bass, great bass, sub-bass, sub-great bass, and sub-contrabass. The deeper, the better!

UPDATE (13.03.24): We can only accommodate registrations with Subbass, Subgroßbass, and Subkontrabass! We have already received 80 registrations. We can allow a maximum of 90 participants.

Target audience: amateurs and semi-professional players who master their instrument solidly and preferably have ensemble experience.

There will be no recorder changes in the program. The pitch is 442 Hz.

Please do not bring plastic recorders and no Renaissance recorders.

The sheet music (parts) for self-printing will be sent to you by email as PDF files directly from Simon Borutzki no later than four weeks before the Intrada.
