With immense joy, we look back on the wonderful Festival Days of the 2025 Recorder Festival, which took place as the 40th anniversary edition from May 25 to June 1 in Bad Kissingen. It was a celebration of the highest calibre.

Dear audience, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for attending our events with enthusiasm, good taste, a love of music and people, and with open ears and hearts. We are delighted with the 92% attendance rate at the festival – thank you for appreciating our concerts so deeply!

This year, we expanded our educational offerings and were pleased to welcome 200 participants to the masterclasses and 160 active players to the joint recorder orchestra event, Intrada. Thank you for your wonderful performances.

Great musical experiences require strong partners. We sincerely thank our partners and sponsors for their generous and loyal support.

Our thanks also go to the exhibitors, recorder makers, and publishers for their wonderful community – they help make our festival so vibrant, unique, and representative, and they attract many interested visitors to our fair each year. Special thanks as well for the fantastic Knowledge Corners and the meaningful encounters they enabled.

Dear performing artists, your work was simply outstanding. A thousand thanks for the thrilling concerts, the sounds, the impressions, and the emotions. Already during the Intrada concert, I felt tears welling up, and each subsequent concert held extraordinary moments – moments I never expected, and that deeply moved me. Thank you for this first-class experience.

Heartfelt thanks also go to our festival team, especially Annabelle Steiger. She communicated, coordinated, and organized everything wonderfully, making every moment special.
