Master Class

led by Prof. Maurice Steger

On Friday, May 10th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, we are organizing a masterclass consisting of four teaching sessions. We are delighted to present to you, once again this year, a morning of exclusive contributions. Prof. Maurice Steger, along with a surprise guest, will instruct on various repertoire for solo players or small ensembles.

The program of the master class:

11.00 a.m. Miriam Sauereisen (DE, 15 years old) plays Giovanni Antonio Pandolfi Mealli: Sonata La Bernabea No. 1 op. 4 (Doblinger)

11.30 a.m. Christine Fuxa (AT, adult) plays Georg Friedrich Händel, Sonata in F major, HWV 369 (Bärenreiter) and Johann Sebastian Bach: Gigue from Partita 3, BWV 1006 (Schott)

12.00 Lucie Boldt (DE, 15 years old) plays Hans-Martin Linde: Music for a bird (Schott), Antonio Vivaldi: Concerto La Notte (Schott) and Jacob van Eyck: Engels Nachtegaeltje (Amadeus)

12.30 Vincenta Prüger (AT, recorder student) plays Giovanni Battista Fontana: Sonata seconda (Amadeus)

Visit our master class with 4 contributions from early baroque Italy, Bach and Vivaldi and modern Sounds as a listener and experience the development of the 4 selected players. Questions and comments are welcome; Prof. Maurice Steger teaches, plays, talks to you and encourages the recorder players to explore new perspectives and possibilities.
