Free parking spaces
On weekdays, visitors can park their cars in around 700 free parking spaces. They are located 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the city center. The parking facilities are located in the Au, at the former US barracks, at Wendelinus, at Heiligenfeld and at the ice rink.
Residents and guests who want to stay in the city all day are offered around 500 low-cost parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the city center. The fees are €1 per day. The spaces can be found at the Eissee, in the Au, in the Kurhausstraße, at the train station, at the freight station, in the Schützenstraße and in the Bergmannstraße. For the same rate, they can park in Bahnhofstraße, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, Pfalzstraße, Salinenstraße and Kapellenstraße. Long-term parkers can also purchase a weekly ticket there for €4 or a monthly ticket for €15.
At the Tattersall parking lot (formerly Salinenparkplatz), motorists can park for two hours for a flat rate of €1; each additional hour costs €0.50. There are also short-term parking spaces along the streets in the center. Here, depending on the location of the space, you pay between €0.30 and €1 per 30 min. A special feature of the Bad Kissingen concept is the Semmel button on the parking machines. This allows you to park your car free of charge to run a short errand up to 20 min.
Participating member businesses of Pro Bad Kissingen will reimburse you 1 € of your parking fee for a purchase over 10 €.
